Elegant Engineering has gained the services of a British Specialist Mechanical Engineer with over 40 years experience in the Mechanical Engineering and Technology sector bringing a wealth of experience and the latest methods, process and state of the art technology in Flange Management. He is registered within the UK Engineering and Construction industry as an A1 assessor in installing plant and systems.

Elegant Engineering can provide varied mechanical services which can extend the lifecycle of vital process equipment, eliminating the need to buy new equipment and reduce the time systems are offline with our onsite repair and refurbishment capabilities. Our team are trained to international standards and managed by our Mechanical Engineer supplying technical expertise, problem solving and guidance to our local Iraqi Mechanical Technicians.

Elegant Engineering’s Flange Management team has the capability to conduct proactive mechanical maintenance requirements at its work shop facility located 30km from Basra City, refurbishing and repairing damaged valves, pumps, flanges and tool calibration services. Our workshop capability combines the ability to train our local Mechanical Technicians to international standards and complete maintenance tasks away from the Clients premises. This facility provides the benefit to prepare process equipment for shut downs and planned outages in advance to reduce schedule impact. It also reduces site based time under permit restrictions reducing the cost of maintenance for activities conducted off site.

On site our team of Mechanical Technicians are available 24 hours of the day 365 days of the year as we appreciate a break down has no appreciation for time and convenience.   

 As well as our permanent workshop we have a mobile work shop which is easily transported to our Clients premises within short notice to support our activities on site. This mobile unit offers our Mechanical Technicians access to heavier tools and greater capabilities to conduct on site repairs to avoid removing process equipment off site.   

All our mechanical work is quality checked, approved and recorded within our software data base system. We can Identify, document and record all relevant flange connection data, supported by our flange management software system, managed by our trained and competent personnel. Our flange management software package is designed to provide a base for planning, data capture, analysis and reporting of all activities related to the inspection, maintenance and testing of bolted joints. With this ability, bolted joint traceability and historical information is at your fingertips. A weatherproof certificate is also attached to all flanges which we work on, providing instant on site historical information.
